Join the R.T. FIELDS BAR ASSOCIATION as we install our NEW BOARD and honor our AWARD RECIPIENTS - all while viewing an AMAZING ART EXHIBIT!

About this event This year, the R.T. FIELDS BAR ASSOCIATION will be installing its next Board at the Center for Social Justice & Civil Liberties Museum in Riverside. Come out to meet our Board and the award recipients from our local community. Take in the amazing exhibit Black Lives Matters: Voices of Protest, Activism & Art. The exhibit features several outstanding local artists and ties in with our theme for the year - Being a Social Engineer. The term "social engineer" was coined by Charles Hamilton Houston, the architect behind the successful effort to end "separate but equal" and other legalized discriminatory polices. According to Houston, a "social engineer" is a highly skilled, perceptive and sensitive lawyer who understands the Constitution of the United States and knows how to explore its uses in the solving of problems within our community. Come learn how we will examine this concept over the next year and beyond!

MASKS REQUIRED.
